Autumn Snow Arrives in Chester

The first snowfall of the Autumn 2010 fell on Chester today at 2pm.

It was only a light scattering but enough to cover pavements and roads. Main roads are clear but quiet estate roads still have snow.

Temperatures are expected to fall below -4°C for the next few nights and the freezing conditions will make the pavements and roads hazardous where snow remains.
